A published Official FLAM Release keeps a unique FLAM Release ID, including after withdrawal.
Digital FLAM Release Certificate
A digital certificate is available once the Official FLAM Release is published.
FLAM catalogue
A live Official FLAM Release can be listed in the FLAM catalogue.
Artist World
An Official FLAM Release can appear in your Artist World when that world is linked. It does not by itself create an Artist World.
Preview analytics
Qualified public previews can be counted. A preview is not a paid stream.
Flames
Listeners can send a Flame on an eligible track preview. Flames are a discovery signal, not a payment.
Artist earnings
Where an eligible FLAM-native purchase generates revenue, the artist's applicable share of verified track sales is recorded as artist earnings. Previews are not paid streams.
FLAM Radio consideration
FLAM Radio consideration is available to Official FLAM Releases and eligible Supporting Members. Eligibility does not guarantee radio play. FLAM Radio remains editorially curated.
FLAM Live showcase
Eligible for FLAM Live showcase priority. This is not a guarantee of TikTok play, live inclusion, or promotion.
Release provenance
The FLAM Release ID and certificate identify the published recording.

What actually counts?
- Pending submissions do not count.
- Rejected submissions do not count.
- Submitting a track does not use a credit. It only counts toward your allowance once FLAM approves it.
- A track counts only when FLAM approves or features it.
- A mastering credit is used for a completed FLAM mastering job. Failed or undelivered jobs are not intended to consume a permanent use.
- Complimentary Artist World allowances reset monthly.
- Purchased credits are used after the complimentary allowance is exhausted.
- Purchased credits do not buy acceptance, Radio play, Charts or promotion.
Additional credits provide extra usage only. They do not guarantee radio, promotion, charts, or acceptance.
Individual artist privileges may override standard allowances.

A live release can be listed in the FLAM catalogue and can appear in an Artist World when that world is linked.

Eligibility does not guarantee airplay. FLAM Radio remains editorially curated.
Rights
Your music stays yours
FLAM does not take ownership of the recording or the master.
The artist retains ownership of the recording. FLAM Tunes (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/493327/07) t/a FLAM Records receives only the rights necessary to host, stream, promote and, where the artist opts in, offer the recording for paid download or access through the FLAM platform.
Releasing through FLAM does not transfer copyright or ownership of the recording to FLAM.
Exclusivity applies only to this recording. You retain ownership of your music and master. You may continue releasing other music anywhere you choose.
You remain responsible for the rights in the submitted recording, including vocals, samples, covers, and artwork. Commercial-use declarations still apply where you opt in to paid download or other commercial use.

Official FLAM Releases use the FLAM release pathway. Artists releasing externally may use the Supporting Membership pathway for eligible external submissions. Supporting Membership applies to this pathway when the participation policy is active.

Supporting Membership
Supporting Membership is separate from Official FLAM Release credits. Where the External Release participation policy is active, an active Supporting Membership may be required for eligible external FLAM Radio submissions.
Supporting Membership will apply to eligible External Release participation when the policy is activated.
It is not a fee for publishing an Official FLAM Release, and it does not buy radio placement, Flames, or charts.
Music can be submitted and approved without an Artist World, but FLAM Radio rotation is reserved for artists with an eligible Artist World. Artist World membership unlocks Radio eligibility. FLAM Radio remains editorially curated.
