Our community thrives when everyone—artists, fans, and creators—feels safe, respected, and inspired. These guidelines help us create a positive space where South African music can flourish.

By using Flam Tunes, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent suspension.

2. Respectful Behavior

Treat everyone with respect and dignity. Our platform brings together people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives across South Africa and beyond.

• Be constructive: Share feedback and criticism in a constructive, respectful manner
• Celebrate diversity: Embrace the rich variety of South African music genres, languages, and traditions
• Support artists: Recognize the work and creativity that goes into making music
• Respect boundaries: Honor the privacy and wishes of artists and other users
• No hate speech: We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic

3. Content Standards

All content on Flam Tunes—including music, videos, images, comments, messages, and profile information—must comply with our content standards.

3.1 Do Not Post:

• Content that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content
• Content that exploits or endangers minors
• Graphic violence or gore
• Content that glorifies self-harm or suicide
• Misinformation that causes harm
• Content that impersonates another person or entity
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent content

3.2 Music and Creative Content

Artists retain creative freedom, but content must comply with South African law and our platform standards. We may restrict or age-gate content that some audiences may find sensitive while remaining within our guidelines.

4. Harassment Policy

We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or targeting of individuals. This includes:

• Direct threats or incitement of violence
• Doxxing (sharing private personal information without consent)
• Coordinated attacks or brigading
• Repeated unwanted contact or stalking
• Sexual harassment or unsolicited sexual advances
• Mocking or attacking someone based on their identity

Artists and public figures may receive more criticism than private individuals, but that does not permit abusive behavior, threats, or targeted harassment.

5. Spam and Manipulation

Maintain the integrity of our platform by avoiding spam and artificial manipulation.

• No artificial engagement: Do not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to inflate plays, likes, follows, or comments
• No spam: Do not post repetitive or irrelevant content, unsolicited promotional messages, or chain messages
• Authentic promotion: Promote your music and events genuinely—fake engagement harms the entire community
• No fake accounts: Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate metrics or evade restrictions

6. Legal Content

All content must comply with applicable South African laws and international law where relevant. You must have the rights to any content you upload, including music, images, and other materials. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Content that violates laws—including those related to hate speech, child protection, and incitement—will be removed and may be reported to relevant authorities.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. Your reports help us maintain a safe and positive community.

• Use the report button on any content (track, comment, message, profile)
• Select the category that best describes the violation
• Provide additional context if helpful

We review all reports and take appropriate action. We may not share the outcome of every report with the reporter to protect user privacy, but we take every report seriously.

8. Consequences of Violations

We use a graduated enforcement approach. Minor or first-time violations may result in a warning and content removal. Repeated or severe violations may lead to:

• Removal of specific content
• Temporary restrictions on certain features (e.g., commenting, messaging)
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Reporting to law enforcement when required by law

We reserve the right to skip graduated steps for severe violations, such as threats, child exploitation, or illegal content.

9. Appeals

If you believe we made an error in enforcing these guidelines, you may request an appeal by contacting support@flamtunes.live with your account details and a description of the situation. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable time.
